At the end of 2006, The Hacienda Sueño Azul Hotel received an international award known as Star Award for Quality, Geneva 2006, in the gold category which recognizes the commitment to quality, leadership, technology, and innovation.
This Hotel is located in Horquetas, Sarapiqui, a town located approximately one hour and fifteen minutes from San José. It offers astonishing natural surroundings because of its proximity to the Braulio Carrillo National Park and due to the rivers that surround it.
“Normally, this award has been granted to only a few large hotels. However, the world must acknowledge that ecotourism can be offered with the highest standards of quality and excellence,” manifested Federico Gallegos, owner of the Blue Dream Hacienda Hotel.
The award was issued in Switzerland by the Business Initiative Directions (B.I.D), the top private organization in the world with a scale of quality recognitions. In the last 26 years, the B.I.D. has implemented its model in 173 countries.
The purpose is to award the commitment to quality from companies whose activities represent the most important sectors of industrial production, and services of countries such as Libya, Canada, Nigeria, Costa Rica, Vietnam, Australia, India, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, just to mention a few. |
